Poland has got a new lotto millionaire! Yesterday’s draw has brought a new lucky player who became rich thanks to lotto. But there’s more great news – yesterday’s win was the biggest recorded win in the history of the Polish Lotto. Have you checked your tickets yet?
Over 35 million PLN was supposed to be waiting in the pool of the Polish lotto, but the grand prize was even bigger, reaching PLN 36 726 210,20. Until yesterday, the biggest jackpot ever was won by a player from Ziębice in 2015, worth PLN 35 234 116,20.
The lucky ticket was boought in a local lotto office in Skrzyszów. Our lucky player, who’s going to receive his prize soon, used the quick-pick (an automatic, random number picking done by the system) to fill his ticket. The numbers drawn were 9, 10, 25, 35, 44, 45. Picking all six numbers correctly with quick pick surely proves that luck smiled on him and his life will be radically different from now on.
The Polish lotto rollover was growing since February 19. The pool was rising after each draw, but it was only a matter of time when somebody would break the bank and start planning what to do with such a great amount of money. The final sum will be slightly smaller, as the winner needs to pay 10% of tax, but we’re pretty sure it won’t be a problem at all.
The Polish lotto organizer will have to pay out not only the jackpot, but also 177 second tier prizes worth PLN 7 724,80 each and 11641 third tier prizes, worth PLN 248,90 each. Thursday’s draw has made many players happy, as any prize puts a smile on a lottery fan’s face.
The next draw of Polish lotto, which will be held tomorrow will bring an opportunity to win the minimum jackpot of PLN 2 million.
