Greek Keno is open exclusively to individuals who are of legal age.
In Greek Keno, players have the task of selecting between 1 and 12 numbers from a pool of 1 to 80. During each draw of the official Greek Keno results, a machine randomly selects 20 numbers out of the 80. Players can choose how many numbers they want to pick, and they also have the option to select a Multiplier ranging from x1 to x10. The higher the Multiplier, the larger the potential winnings.
Players can fill out a paper ticket or play Keno lottery online. Both methods offer the option to use “Quick Pick,” where the system randomly selects numbers for you, or you can choose the numbers manually.
In Greece, Greek Keno winnings are distributed either through OPAP stores, where players must present their winning ticket, or via authorized banks in accordance with the procedures established by OPAP S.A.
It’s important to remember that tickets which are lost, damaged, altered, or otherwise cannot be validated by the Central Processing System are deemed invalid and are not eligible for any prizes or compensation from OPAP S.A.
There is a progressive tax applied to the winnings of each slip per draw, according to the following tax scale:
Regardless of the number of draws each slip participates in, the tax applies to the net winnings from each draw separately, after subtracting the cost of the slip for the corresponding draw.
Note that any prize claim is void after a period of 3 months from the winning column draw.
Players who engage in Greek Keno via LottoPark will have their winnings, up to $2,500 (converted at the current exchange rate), automatically credited to their LottoPark account. These winnings can then be either withdrawn to the player’s bank account or used to continue playing. For larger Greek Keno prizes, a personalized prize claim process will be established between the player and LottoPark.
It is important to note that all winnings are subject to the same tax regulations as those that apply to Greek Keno prizes in Greece.
The top prize in Greek Keno is €1,000,000, which can be won by correctly selecting 12 numbers out of the 20 drawn. The Multiplier option increases the prizes for lower-tier winnings, and all this information is clearly presented in the prize table.
Interestingly, if you choose 10, 11, or 12 numbers and none of them appear during the draw, you still win a prize. This unique feature adds an extra layer of excitement and potential reward to the game.
The table below provides detailed information about the potential winnings when you play Greek Keno 20/80. Select the “Multiplier” feature to view the possible Greek Keno prizes for a stake ranging from 1 to 10.
