A man from Maple Valley received the surprise of a lifetime when he found out he had won $100,000 from the Powerball drawing on June 29.
“When I scanned my ticket and saw the prize amount, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Neither could the employee who was helping me. He had to scan the ticket again and then another employee came over to see what was going on.” – said the winner.
The winner told Lottery officials he drove straight to the Washington’s Lottery Federal Way Regional Office to claim his prize, but has been in too much shock to think about what he plans to do with the money. That’s why he decided to simply put the money on his bank account for now.
