How Does the €120 Million Cap Work?

Unlike the US games, Eurojackpot has fixed limits. The jackpot starts at €10 million and can grow to a maximum of €120 million. The ceiling was raised to that level in March 2022. Once the jackpot hits the cap, it cannot grow any further, and the extra money is redirected to the lower prize tiers. This is why capped Eurojackpot draws are popular – the jackpot is at its highest possible value and the lower prizes become richer too.

Is Tuesday's jackpot really at the cap?

Yes. After Friday's rollover, the jackpot for Tuesday, 6 October is €120 million, the highest amount Eurojackpot can offer. However many more times it rolls over, it cannot grow beyond that amount.

When Is the Next Eurojackpot Draw?

Eurojackpot is drawn twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, in Helsinki. The €120 million draw takes place on Tuesday, 6 October 2026 at 20:00 Central European Summer Time (21:00 local time in Helsinki). LottoPark closes sales shortly before the draw.
