Jackpot winners in the United States can choose between the annuity, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, and a one-off cash payment. Both advertised amounts are before federal and state taxes. Powerball is drawn three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and the jackpot keeps growing until somebody wins it.
Thirty Drawings Without a Jackpot Winner
The current run began after Wednesday, 12 August 2026, when a ticket sold in Illinois won a US$1.04 billion jackpot. Since then, every single Powerball drawing has ended without a jackpot winner. In just one week the estimate has risen from US$600 million on Saturday to US$607 million on Monday and now US$635 million for Wednesday.
The bigger the jackpot, the more tickets are usually sold, so each new rollover tends to push the estimate up faster. Wednesday's drawing is the 30th in this run, and if it ends without a winner, the next chance is on Saturday, 24 October.
Mini Powerball Jackpot Now US$63.5 Million
The rollover also lifts Mini Powerball. It uses the same official Powerball drawing and numbers, but every prize is exactly 10% of the Powerball prize, so its jackpot now stands at US$63.5 million. You can play Mini Powerball on LottoPark with a minimum order of 10 lines.
