Ötöslottó Results and Winning Numbers
When are the Ötöslottó winning numbers drawn?
Ötöslottó is drawn every Saturday at 18:45 Budapest time by Szerencsejáték Zrt., the Hungarian state lottery. 5 numbers are drawn from a pool of 1 to 90. The results on this page are updated after every draw, and the archive lets you browse the Ötöslottó winning numbers since 2020.
How to check your Ötöslottó ticket?
Compare the 5 numbers on each line with the winning numbers. The order does not matter – only how many of them match.
- 5 matching numbers – the Ötöslottó jackpot (odds 1 in 43,949,268)
- 4 matching numbers – second-tier prize (odds 1 in 103,410)
- 3 matching numbers – third-tier prize (odds 1 in 1,231)
- 2 matching numbers – fourth-tier prize (odds 1 in 44)
Why do Ötöslottó prizes change from draw to draw?
All Ötöslottó prizes are pari-mutuel. Between 40% and 60% of each draw's sales goes into the prize fund. The prize fund is split between the four tiers in set proportions, and each tier's share is divided among all of its winners – so the more tickets are sold and the fewer people match the same numbers, the higher the prize. The table above shows the actual amounts paid in each draw.
Ötöslottó jackpot rollovers
If no one matches all 5 numbers, the jackpot rolls over to the next draw and keeps growing. There is no guaranteed minimum jackpot, so its size depends entirely on ticket sales and on how many draws have passed without a winner.
